Rachel Roy came to Macys Union Square in San Francisco last thursday May 19th to show her summer collection. Rachel greeted fans as her Rachel collection was being modeled for guests. Just in time for the Holiday season Rami Kashou, Project Runway Alum showed us how he created an exquisite dress from paper.
Rami Kashou Paper Dress Unveiling & Champagne Reception
was held at Papyrus Embarcadero 2 Embarcadero Center, Lobby Level on Tuesday December 14, 2010 6:00pm-8pm.
Rami Kashou unveiled The Holiday Collage Couture Dress made primarily of Papyrus papers and materials. This wonderfully crafted dress was worn by model Nadia Alexandria. Rami Kashou’s Origami Birthday Dress and the Pleated Paper Wedding Dress from Papyrus events earlier this year in Los Angeles were also available for viewing.
All three dresses were simply amazing. Who would have thought you can make such beautiful dresses from paper? Rami demonstrated it can be done for three different occasions. (Birthday, Holiday and Bridal)
After the unvieling Rami Kashou signed limited-edition prints of The Holiday Collage sketch for the first 100 guests.

LuAnn introduced her new boyfriend Jacques Azoulay to the crowd and also welcomed her children Victoria De Lesseps and Noel De Lesseps on stage after singing her song Money Can’t Buy you Class.
