Today Designer Nancy Gonzalez made a personal appearance at Neiman Marcus at Union Square San Francisco.
Her lastest collection of exotic handbags are available at Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Bergdorf Goodman.
Nancy Gonzalez handbags collection are all chic with vibrant colors and different styles to choose from. I absolutely loved them all but I especially liked the Patent Crocodile Satchel.

Project Inform’s Evening of Hope 2009: A Night to Remember

Project Inform’s Evening of Hope 2009 took place last night at the Four Seasons Hotel with actor Alec Mapa as Master of Ceremonies.
“Alec Mapa goes down on San Francisco” is the headline he said would make it on Perezhilton.com with an added drawing on his face made familiar by Perez on his site.
The night started with Alec on stage to entertain the crowd and he tweets ” I was a little dirty for the room. They needed it ” which could have been due to his timing as guests were eating.
He did not hold back although later in the night during the live auction they tried to censor him but he did not let that happen. The event had great food, drinks, deserts and a Condom Couture Fashion Show.
All designs had a touch of condoms flowing through their dresses and even in the jewelry. I was backstage with the models as they had their make-up, hair and got them ready for the fashion show. Each designer had a one of a kind garment and even though condoms were included some could not tell the dresses were made with condoms.
Another year of great fun and I look forward to what will happen at next years event.
Mr. Fierce Christian Siriano in San Francisco

Fashion Designer Christian Siriano came to Saks Fifth Avenue in San Francisco Union Square to show his new Collection and also sign his book Fierce Style: How To Be Your Most Fabulous Self.
Christian was accompanied by two models wearing pieces from his collection as well as those Fierce shoes from Christian’s shoe line.
His collection is available by special order at Saks Fifth Avenue and if you have a few thousands dollars available to spend then you too can have Fierce Style.
Fashion For A Cause:This Old Bag

On Wednesday the tv show The View From the Bay had a sneak peak of This Old Bag benefit auction with a Fashion Show.
Being apart of the audience was a new experience and I was able to learn about This Old Bag:The Power of the Purse, A Benefit For Breast Cancer Emergency Fund.
The fashion show included clothes that was donated for the event from Bloomingdale’s as well as several chic handbags that will be auctioned on October 16, 2009 as Kaiser Permanente presents This Old Bag: The Power of the Purse. This year marks the sixth annual celebration of handbags benefiting Breast Cancer Emergency Fund hosted by W San Francisco.
One handbag in particular Tod’s Cream Boho Fringe Bag was donated by Sharon Stone to the Breast Cancer Benefit fund. The handbag is autographed and will be auctioned off at this year’s event including other fabulous prizes going for a great cause. To learn more about this event visit This Old Bag.
Evening of Hope: Fashion Show with Condom Couture

Last year Project Inform’s special event Evening of Hope was a great success with Project Runway’s Designer Jack Mackenroth as Master of Ceremonies. The Fashion show included condom couture from local designers as well as Jack Machenroth’s exquisite wedding dress.
Laughter will for sure be in abundance on October 14th 2009 as this year’s event will have actor/comedian Alec Mapa from Tv Show Ugly Betty as Master of Ceremonies. The fashion show will once again feature designs from several locals including Designer Catherine Jane who last year wowed the crowd with her collection and royal blue gown made with condoms.
I absolutely love being apart of this event because of the fashion but also for the cause. Project Inform’s Evening of Hope will benefit the organizations program and continue to give hope to those who have HIV.
