For those that are not from the Bay Area you can also find events in your city here.

Fashion On the Sqaure takes place next weekend August 14th, 2010. Mark your calendar fashion lovers because this is an event not to miss! This year marks the 7th annual Fashion On the Square. This week I will be posting more information about the event.
To purchase tickets go to Fashion on the Square webpage.

Nick Verreos hosted San Francisco Macy’s Sex and the City 2 Fashion Shopping event last month. I had a chance to meet him before the event and let me tell you he is so nice! Ladies from all over the Bay Area came together that night to enjoy a complementary mini manicure, shopping tips from Nick Verreos and of course lets not forget the cocktails. It was a perfect girls night out to take out those credit cards and shop shop shop!

The ladies took over the impulse level of Macy’s as Nick showed us gals how to get the look from each character in the Sex and the City 2 movie. I have a few video clips from this event that I will later post so be sure to check back to hear from Nick himself his fashion recommendations.

For those that missed the event, a little birdy told me Nick Verreos will be returning to San Francisco later this month. Check out more on this event at Nick Verreos Blog. Nick included a picture of him and I posing!

Fashion Designer Roland Mouret had a special showing of his RM collection and I had a chance to talk to him about RM by Roland Mouret.

Roland said as he described his collection, “The collection is south of france, old century and all of the brightest because I really like the fact that it is where I come from and I try to capture that and that it works.”

When asked what is his inspiration behind his collection Roland says, ” Every women, all the women. For me women are like a mirror ball. Tiny of like pieces shinning in different ways.”

Roland gives advice to future fashion designers who are trying to step into the fashion world. Roland says, ” To carry on and to believe in what you are doing. Also to try to understand what it really costs. The only trick is the price of the work is irrelevant if the piece you get from it looks expensive.”

Fashion Designer Nicole Miller came to the Bay Area last month to show her fall dress collection at Neiman Marcus.

I had a chance to interview Nicole at the event to see what advice she had for upcoming designers, her inspiration on her collection and what from her collection is a must have.
Nicole says, ” Maybe take time off because they are going to be competing with celebrities.” Entering the fashion world seems to be easy for celebrities so those that are not in the lime light will need to be up for the challenge to stand out among celebrities. Each designer has they own inspiration behind each piece and Nicole says,” My fall collection was inspired by architecture, 1960′s architecture work.” She also adds that a must have from her collection is, “Everything!”

This time of Season there are Holiday parites to attend and if you want to look like a celebrity or looking for gift ideas then shop Nicole Miller.

It’s that time again Fashion Lovers to mark your calendars! This upcoming month of December all 3 appearance will be on the same day. Good news is that they will be at the same location too!
